The time of year when we celebrate the independence of our country is soon approaching! Show your American pride by displaying your flag or by wearing red, white, and blue. Get the grill out to cook some burgers, invite your friends and family, and afterwards head out to one of the many spectacular fireworks displays that will light up the skies all over the Bay Area! San Francisco

Blue and Gold Fleet

4th of July Fireworks Cruise: Spend Independence Day with music, fireworks, dancing, drinks, and snacks while sailing around the San Francisco Bay and views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Excursions begins from Pier 41 in San Francisco beginning at 8 p.m. and Tiburon at 8:30 p.m. You can also take the ferry to Angel Island which departs from Pier 39 at 5:40 p.m., with a return from Angel Island at 10:30 p.m.

Fisherman’s Wharf

Celebrate 4th of July along the waterfront of Fisherman’s Wharf where there will be live entertainment and music while you enjoy the spectacular City of San Francisco Firework show at 9:30 p.m. Other hot spots to view the show include Aquatic Park, PIER 39, or Ghirardelli Square.

Premiere 4th of July Dinner Cruise: If you are in the mood for something a little more elegant, we recommend this 4 hour cruise with dinner, cocktails, live entertainment, scenic views, and a firework show at 9:30 PM. Departure is Monday, July 4, 2016 from Pier 3, San Francisco, CA at 7 p.m., but don’t miss the boat by arriving early, boarding starts at 6 p.m. (415) 788-8866.

4th of July Family Fun Fireworks Celebration

Join the City of Livermore and Livermore Downtown for a firework celebration. Gather family and friends, go shopping, and dine at great restaurants before enjoying the Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Alameda County Fairgrounds

This 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular includes musical performances by the Oakland Symphony and a Salute to Hometown Heroes Video. The show begins at approximately 9:30 p.m. If you’re looking for the best view, make sure to head over to the Budweiser Grandstand.

South Bay

Cupertino

Bring the kiddos out to Memorial Park Amphitheatre and Blackberry Farm to enjoy the parade at 10 a.m. This family-fun celebration will include a pancake breakfast, flag raising, live entertainment, a children’s carnival, and delicious food all between the hours of 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Redwood City, Downtown

Visit the heart of Downtown Redwood City for the 78th Annual 4th of July Parade – A Family 4th. This event attracts thousands of spectators to enjoy parade floats, crafts, family festivities, and a firework show launched from the Port of Redwood City.

Rose, White, and Blue Parade

Celebrate the holiday with history, patriotism, and roses! This Parade and festival is held annually on Independence Day in San Jose.  This parade will cruise through the Rose Garden neighborhood ending on the grand avenue of The Alameda. This parade features live bands, dance groups, home-made floats, antique cars, food, drinks, and so much more. Don’t miss out on the family fun!
