Porsche 911 Models

The legendary Porsche 911 family is comprised of 24 trim levels—each offering unique engine specs and performance and comfort features. So, which of the new Porsche 911 models stand out? Truthfully, all of them—and for different reasons. However, we’ve narrowed down the list to some of our favorites for San Jose and Palo Alto drivers, based on adaptability, power and speed, and price.

Most Versatile

The 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S are arguably the most adaptable in the lineup. Equipped with a 540- to 580-hp 3.8L twin-turbo boxer-6, the Turbo models offer immense power, and use variable turbine geometry (VTG) to alter the aspect ratio of their turbochargers to meet the demands of high or low engine speeds. Standard features include:

  • Rear-axle steering
  • Porsche Active Suspension Management
  • Porsche Communication Management with navigation
  • Fully electric sport seats

Most Track-Ready

The Porsche 911 GT models are built for the track, specifically the 911 GT2 RS. For starters, the GT2 RS comes standard with:

  • Porsche Track Precision App
  • Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake
  • Magnesium roof
  • Satin White/Gold Metallic wheels

That’s not all, though; this mega sports car is powered by a 700-hp 3.8L twin-turbo 6-cylinder that zips from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.

Most Affordable

The distinction of “most affordable” belongs to the 911 Carrera Base (starting at $91,100). Of course, even the entry-level Porsche 911 packs a punch with a 370-hp 3.0L twin-turbo boxer-6 engine. It cruises on 19-inch Carrera wheels and announces its presence with twin single-tube tailpipes in brushed stainless steel. Other notable features include:

  • SPORT button
  • Porsche Active Suspension Management
  • Porsche Communication Management with navigation
  • 13-inch front/rear brake discs
