The naturally aspirated engine of the 911 GT3 features a four-liter displacement and six horizontally opposed cylinders mounted at the rear. With six individual throttle bodies, the engine delivers exceptional responsiveness and control. All of this is accompanied by a purebred sound that envelops you from every angle.
The 7-speed PDK in the 911 GT3 boasts a sportier configuration, with crisp, short gearshift throws via paddles. Alternatively, you can manually shift with the PDK gear selector, designed as a traditional manual lever. Regardless of your shifting choice, the seven gears provide a rich, racing-inspired experience. Schedule your test drive at Porsche Fremont in San Jose today.
For the first time in a 911 GT3, a double wishbone front suspension enhances front axle reactivity and reduces friction in the shock absorbers. This new axle configuration improves cornering stability on Milpitas roads, delivering quicker steering responses and enabling higher cornering speeds.
The new aerodynamics philosophy of the 911 GT3 follows the principle that “function dictates form.” Every element, from wings and diffusers to air intakes, aligns with this philosophy. The goal is to achieve exceptional grip in all driving situations.
Incoming air cools the brakes, while the coated air intake grilles protect against debris. The air outlets within the central radiator are seamlessly integrated into the carbon fiber hood, accentuating the motorsport aesthetics. Balancing downforce, equilibrium, and cooling is key. The broad front spoiler lip further enhances front axle downforce.
The new top-mounted wing, borrowed from the 911 RSR, generates substantial downforce. The “swan-neck” connection ensures streamlined airflow beneath the wing, minimizing downforce loss. The redesigned rear diffuser, with large slats, is aerodynamically efficient, providing up to four times more rear downforce than the previous version.
For the first time, the 911 GT3 features differing wheel sizes, with 20-inch wheels on the front axle and 21-inch wheels on the rear. These wide wheels provide a larger contact area, enhancing dynamic performance on the roads of Hayward.
The GT3 Sport steering wheel equipped with PDK gearshift paddles allows for swift gear changes reminiscent of motorsport. Its non-slip steering wheel rim provides a comfortable grip, even during spirited driving. All materials are minimalist yet of premium quality. The Sport Seats Plus come with heightened side bolsters, standard electric seat height and backrest adjustments, along with manual fore/aft adjustment.
A 10.9-inch touchscreen display, 7-inch TFT displays, Porsche Connect, Apple CarPlay®, and the most recent generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM), which serves as the central hub for audio, navigation, and communication, along with a range of assistance systems. A novel feature is the selectable track screen that presents pertinent track-related data upon request, such as tire pressure, g-force, stopwatch, water temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure.
