While both the Porsche and BMW CPO programs offer 24/7 roadside assistance for times of car troubles, the Porsche CPO warranty is longer. The Porsche offers a 2-year/100,000-mile CPO warranty, while BMW offers a 1-year/unlimited-mile certified pre-owned warranty, whichever comes first.


BMW vs. Porsche: Sports Cars

  • 718 Cayman vs. BMW M2: The 718 Cayman and BMW M2 have starting MSRPs of $56,900 and $58,900, respectively, making the 718 Cayman the more competitively-priced sports car. What’s more, unlike the BMW M2, the Porsche 718 Cayman comes with an available Sport Chrono Package and a front luggage compartment in addition to the rear trunk, making for 15 cubic feet of cargo space vs. the 13.8 cubic feet of cargo room for the M2.
