Preview of the 2019 Porsche 911 992 Sports Car
Porsche 911 Performance
The 2019 Porsche 911 992 lineup offers powerful engine options for every trim. The current Carrera produces 370 hp, and the Carrera S produces 420 hp. The 2019 models will come with turbo flat-six engines with about 30 more hp on tap. Furthermore, the 911 Porsche transmission will improve, retiring its 7-speed transmission for an 8-speed transmission. The 2019 lineup may also include a first-ever hybrid model. It won’t be completely electric, but, in 2020, Porsche may release a 992 hybrid with an electric boost function for increased performance.
Porsche 911 Style & Features
The 2019 Porsche 911 992 has the same sleek design as its predecessor, but a couple changes are in order. Many of these changes take place to the rear of the car. Spy photos reveal a wide spoiler that extends the whole width of the car, and square and round exhaust tips are added on the rear bumper, giving the new model an even more energetic appearance.
As for interior features, many of the same tech features from the last model are on the 2019 model as well. The center console will have a sizable PCM display, where Saratoga drivers can access a wide variety of features, including audio streaming, navigation, and smartphone integration. Porsche is known to offer a large selection of available features, so the 2019 Porsche 911 should be no exception. There likely will be available add-ons, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist.
